壶隐（陈鸣远）以塑镂成名，从小就受家庭制壶熏陶，其父本就是制壶名匠，亲传技艺。使得鹤峰（陈鸣远）的自然壶更加技高一筹，当时传“古来技巧有几人，陈生壶隐今伦”的称号。

我（再度出山）这把陈鸣远的素壶是他高的手艺另一面的表现，球形（葫芦的下半部）用老话讲“有样”配双提梁的效果更显它雅致端庄之美。

此壶是二十年前河北一位“跑河（收古董旧货的人）的农民，携来要价400元购得”。
